About Hugh

I am a filmmaker based out of Portland, Oregon. I am currently trying to produce and direct a screenplay with my fellow filmmaker, which we also wrote titled "Chinook." Chinook is a coming-of-age drama set in present-day Ilwaco, Washington, at the mouth of the Columbia River. Set against the backdrop of a small logging and fishing town, Chinook tells the story of a part Native American teenager who must carve a dugout canoe to establish her cultural identity against the tide of racism and indifference against her and her people.

Also, working on producing either a limited series or a feature, "The Netherworld," is a fantasy film in the vein of Constantine meets Big Trouble in Little China.
Set in the present day in this world and the Netherworld. The Netherworld is a place between this world and the great beyond. In this world, there are Fetches that help the spirits cross over. And when a lost soul or a spirit tries to return, the Fetches are called to help rebalance the scales of life and death.
From the depths of hell, a demigod named Dawn, who believes she has been unjustly imprisoned by Rae the Fetch for crimes against humanity, has managed to escape. Her sole purpose now is to hunt down Rae and exact her revenge. Dawn’s revenge plan is to destroy the Netherworld, a realm of darkness and despair, tear a hole in the thin veil that separates the evil creatures of hell from the world of the living, and establish herself as the supreme ruler of this new domain. However, only Rae possesses the knowledge and power to halt Dawn's destructive path. But time is not on Rae’s side, and the clock is ticking.
