About James

My background is as a biomechanical sculpture artist. On many occasions people visiting galleries would say my work made them think of movies.

In 2012 a talent rep for Disney pointed out that she felt my work was right for film. My first screenplay Transcarlet was a 2016 award winner with Cannes Screenplay and has been a semi-finalist with Screencraft in 2015 and 2016. Most recently Transcarlet was the winner of Fantastic Planet Sydney 2017.
