What is Stage 32 Education?

Over the last 13 years, Stage 32 has been bringing relevant, actionable and timely entertainment industry education to creatives and professionals around the world. Our webinars, classes and labs are taught by world class educators who are working in the business right now.

As a result, Stage 32 has amassed the world’s largest entertainment industry education library with over 3,000 hours programmed and has been called “The Netflix of the global entertainment industry.”

Our education partners around the globe include Netflix, the Cannes Film Festival Marche du Film, the American Film Market, Canon, United Airlines, Variety, dozens of film commissions and other film festivals and many more.

What is the Stage 32 Mission?

The mission of Stage 32 is to democratize the global entertainment industry by leveling the playing field for all creatives and business professionals worldwide by offering a safe space, like minded social media environment, world class education, certification opportunities, and a marketplace connecting content creators with decision makers.

What Kind of Education Does Stage 32 Offer?

Stage 32 offers webinars, classes, labs and certification courses.

What is a Webinar?

Stage 32 webinars are available live and on demand run 90-120 minutes.

In the live version, your instructor will teach for approximately 60-75 minutes and then take questions from the live audience.

All of our live webinars are then placed On Demand to be viewed at your convenience and as many times as you’d like.

You do not need to be available live to sign up for a live webinar. You will be able to watch your webinar On Demand.

What is a Class?

Classes usually run 2-4 sessions (either over consecutive days or weeks) and are generally about 2 hours per session.

You do not need to attend a class live to enjoy the benefits. All class sessions and previously programmed classes are available On Demand to be viewed at your convenience

What is a Lab?

Labs are super specific, goal-oriented sessions. Mostly ranging from 6-14 sessions, labs are limited to a certain number of students. This keeps the sessions intimate and productive.

During your lab, you will learn in a class setting, but also have one on one office hours with your instructor toward achieving the goal set forth in the syllabus of the lab.

Labs are not available on demand. However, all sessions are recorded, so if you can’t make a session, no worries! You can watch the session you missed at your convenience.

What is Stage 32 Certification?

Stage 32 Certification was launched in November of 2023 with the backing of dozens of film commissions and other organizations with the goal of helping train people for a long career in the industry while solving the problem of global shortages of talent for film commissions, streamers, networks, studios, financiers and independent producers worldwide.

You can be certified in one particular subject or Master Certified in all subjects within a certain category. Once you are certified, you will be entered into a global database and receive a Stage 32 Certification badge showing that you are qualified and ready to work.

Where can I find my Education Library?

You can access your Education Library by clicking “Settings” in your top right hand corner (gear icon), then clicking “My Library”.

Q: How do I watch my webinar live?
A: Your webinar will take place on Zoom webinar, unless otherwise noted. You will receive an email with your Zoom registration link, or you can access it in your Library. You can access your library under settings (gear icon) in the top right-hand corner of your Stage 32 profile. If you did not receive your link via Zoom please email support@stage32.com.

Q: How do I watch my webinar on demand?
A: You will be able to watch your webinar on demand as many times as you’d like inside your Stage 32 profile. The recording is processed and posted between 24-48 hours after the webinar concludes. You can follow the instructions below.

If You Already Have a Stage 32 Profile:

Log into your Stage 32 profile

Create a profile using the SAME email address you used to sign up for this webinar. The email addresses must match in order to watch the webinar.

Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.

Q: What are the system requirements to watch my webinar live?
A: You will need to have the most up to date version Zoom installed on your computer. If you have any questions on how to do this you can contact Zoom on their website.

Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?
A: If you cannot attend a live webinar or purchase an on demand webinar, you will have access to the entire recorded broadcast, including the Q&A.

Q: Will I have access to the webinar afterward to re-watch?
A: Yes! Like all Stage 32 education, after the purchase of a live or on demand webinar, you will have on-demand access to the recording.

Q: Can I watch my webinar on my phone?
A: A: Yes you are able to watch your webinar by going to your Stage 32 app > education > my library.

Q: How do I get a copy of the handouts provided?
A: If the webinar you take included handouts you can find them as downloads underneath your on demand video. You must be logged into your Stage 32 profile to view the video and get the handouts by clicking settings in the top right hand corner, then clicking My Library.

Q: What if I need accessibility and accommodations?
A: Email support@stage32.com to request accommodations.

A: Stage 32 Classes are typically 90-120 minute interactive classes that take place online using a designated software program like Zoom Meeting from Stage 32. Your class will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to be on camera and ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during the class. You will also have access to your Educator via email throughout the duration of your class.

If you are purchasing a class on-demand, you will have full access to the recorded live classes as well as the supporting documentation if the educator provided it, but you will not have access to the instructor on email.
