You’ll learn the critical techniques needed to captivate financiers, attract distributors, and secure the attention of top streamers, giving your project the edge it needs to succeed!
By the end of this lab, you’ll know how to create eye-catching pitch decks, put together personalized talent and director lists, and build a solid financial package with business plans and sales projections to back your project. What You'll Learn
Session 1: Deck Review
In this class, we’ll cover the essentials of creating an effective feature film package. Together, we’ll review each student’s deck, and Tiffany will provide personalized feedback.
Assignment: Make adjustments to your deck and prepare your Talent and Director Lists.
Session 2: Talent, Director Lists & Producers/Production Companies
We’ll dive into your Talent, Director, and Producer Lists (where applicable), with Tiffany offering detailed feedback and adjustments based on her industry expertise. The session will also include an overview of Distributor and Sales Agent Lists to prepare for the next step.
Assignment: Revise your lists based on class feedback and prep your Distributor/Sales Agent Lists.
Session 3: Getting to Sales Agents & Distributors
This session is all about identifying and reaching your target audience. Tiffany will review your lists, offer tailored suggestions, and share strategic insights for approaching Sales Agents and Distributors.
Assignment: Refine your lists and prepare a potential finance plan. You’ll have two weeks to work on this.
Session 4: The Financial Package
Bring in your finance plan, including your business plan, finance strategy, and sales projections. Tiffany will review your materials, provide feedback, and help ensure your plan is ready for the marketplace and tailored to your project.
Assignment: Continue refining your financial materials and strategy.
Session 5: Queries
This week is dedicated to queries. Tiffany will share her tips for crafting impactful email and phone queries, helping you find the best approach for your specific project. You’ll also have the chance to practice live, gaining confidence through real-time feedback.
Assignment: Using all the elements developed over the last five sessions, assemble your full pitch packet (deck, business plan, finance packet, etc.) and submit it to Tiffany 24 hours before the next class.
Session 6: Group Review of Packages
Using screenshare, Tiffany will review each student’s pitch packet and provide detailed feedback to help you finalize your materials.
Assignment: Make necessary adjustments and prepare your pitch for a talent, director, production company, sales agent, or financier of your choice.
Session 7: Pitching Your Project
With your package complete, it’s time to pitch! Each attendee will deliver a 5-minute pitch and receive on-the-spot feedback and suggestions from Tiffany.
Session 8: One-on-Ones with Tiffany
The class will not meet as a group this week. Instead, students will schedule individual calls with Tiffany for personalized guidance on their projects.

Since joining Ramo Law in 2009, Tiffany Boyle has leveraged her business-oriented sales and packaging skills to bring hundreds of films and documentaries to fruition. Tiffany connects filmmakers with producers, co-producers, executive producers, co-finance partners, distributors, agencies and other industry representatives. Since 2018 alone, Tiffany has optimized clients’ financial and business positions in more than 35 films and documentaries. Through her critical review of content and strategic use of Ramo Law resources, Tiffany creates successful content packaging that bridges the needs of both client and industry demands.
Recently, Tiffany served as a Co-Executive Producer and brought in financing for films SOMETHING ELSE (Tribeca 2019) and ARKANSAS” starring Liam Hemsworth and Vince Vaughn. She led the sales and packaging for TRAGEDY GIRLS (SXSW 2017) and FREAKS (Toronto IFF 2018), she brought foreign financing to ASHES IN THE SNOW (Los Angeles FF 2018) starring Bel Powley, and she sold an autobiography to Hulu for development into a limited television series.
Experienced with project budgets ranging from micro-sized to $30 million, Tiffany has helped to establish and expand these high-value sales and packaging resources, uniquely accessed outside of the traditional management company and agency model. With her vast experience, Tiffany has been able to help foreign production companies and investors create a foothold in the US marketplace.
