Have you ever been watching a movie totally engrossed in the story and then all of a sudden the image you are watching doesn’t match up to the previous shot and takes you completely out of the story? That means that the filmmakers didn’t pay attention to continuity on set. You can have the best script and the most talented actors telling your story but none of that matters if you lose your audience’s attention.

Continuity is not just one person’s responsibility on set – from pre-production to post-production every department needs to pay attention to continuity. Not doing so can cost your production time and money by way of having to do additional setups on set, reshoots, re-edits and additional post-production work. All of that can be avoided with proper planning, attention to detail and the right guidebook to follow to ensure your production’s success.

We have the person to help you with just that, Beth Multer. Beth is a highly-in demand Script Supervisor in the entertainment industry who has worked on over 20 feature films and television shows for companies such as Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, Showtime, Paramount, ABC, and more. No one knows continuity better than Beth and we are thrilled that she is bringing her extensive knowledge to our Stage 32 community.

This exclusive Stage 32 webinar will guide you through the pitfalls of continuity, where continuity falls in each department and how attention to this important detail can save your production time and money.
