Hi Andrea Jenkins - great to see you here on IYW. I just listened to a mix of Royaltea and added it to my workout playlist - so good! Can you share what "17 Years & Counting" is about?

"17 years & Counting" is a romance novel about a true life story that has actually happened to me.

I met Timothy by accident 17 years ago. There was an instant pull between us both. As he battled his own demons, I kept moving forward. I started my own business, model & make music and had my children. I think what makes my story unique is that the odds of finding your soulmate is 1 in 10,000. It is relatable to mental health and recovery. I myself wasn't an addict, but loving someone and watching the light fade from their eyes- its a Rollercoaster & you can't fix them, like most of us women want to or try to- they need to want to fix themselves. In the end, he does. And I hope that this real life story can give hope and inspire other's. Too many of us settle in relationships, due to standards or not wanting to be alone. To many of us also don't want to put in the work even when our core says "This is the one." Society is so quick to jump ship when really it's the right person at the wrong time & You can and will get there. You just need a little faith ;)

It will be released in Barnes & Noble, Amazon & Kindle.

My docu-series, is about my life growing up. Way too much to type here lol. But its about defeating the odds, standing strong. As I say when life throws you lemons, throw them back. Don't give it the satisfactory of making lemonade!

I submitted my pitch on here and got really great feedback. She advised me to use my large fan base to make it go viral, so I will hopefully get the attention of a larger network and proceed with filming from there!

Always looking to collab and network and one goal of mine is to have my music in film/TV.

Very cool stuff Andrea Jenkins! At what age did you start making music?

At age 12 I started writing & even had a girl group "Silver Ice" with my friends that didn't go anywhere lol. Then I had kids and stopped modeling until 2019 and I got back into it full time, so 2021 after a bizarre Newsbreak situation with my picture on a different Andrea Jenkins bio- this was the reason for writing "Royaltea" which is a huge metaphor. & I recorded it then. So technically 2021
