Hello to stage32 community,
I'm new in the industry and I'm still learning how everything works. Now I come to my question, I'm almost done with my Pitch deck document and what I want to know is : do I need to have my script ready too? Or it's not necessary? Make me know your first experiences on pitching your project and if you guys can give me advice on my questions.
Thank you all very much
Regards

I don't use pitch decks but if I did I would want a ready to send screenplay. As far as pitching my screenplays go I don't do that either so I can't offer any information concering how to do that.

The general rule is that you can pitch and query with a pitch deck ONLY, however, if a producer solicits your screenplay from the query it should be delivered within 30 days.

Hi, Grace Antonina Balistreri. I make sure I have the script ready before sending out a pitch deck. I wouldn't want to get interest in the project and not have a script to send to a producer, director, etc. right away.
Thank very much to all of you.
Than once I'm done with my Pitch deck then I will go ahead with the course that I was going to do to write from my pilot script to Al the episodes. So I have everything ready.

If you are new to Writing or the industry and dont have a script, there is zero point in making a pitch deck. none. Unless you are a repped, working writer with credits, you do not need a pitch deck but you DEFINITELY need a finished, polished, fantastic script.

As everyone has already said already, it's best to have a script ready to send if your pitch deck has done its job and piqued the interest of a producer. Imagine if they replied saying they loved what you sent and requested a script only for you to say that you hadn't written it yet and that they'd have to wait... Even though you're new to the industry, I'm sure you can glean this wouldn't go down too well.
Also: did I read it right that you intend to have AI write episodes?

Hi Filosofo,
No I'm going to write every episode, non artificial intelligence. I have the whole story written I just have to transform it in a script.

Be a waste of Time to write every episode.
Cart before horse screenwriting always fails.

As Dan has said above, it wouldn't be a good use of your time to write all the episodes. It's not necessary. Write the pilot and create the series bible/pitch deck (which should contain brief details on each episode to show the story arc) then start getting it out there.
