Introduce Yourself : Writer. Editor. Publisher. Aspiring Screenwriter by Varun Prabhu

Hello there, I am Varun from Bangalore, India, or should I say Bengaluru? But what's in a name as Shakespeare once said, even though his name appeared beside the quote. I am a writer and have been engaging in the craft for an awesome ten years now. I write prose most of the time, but lately, I have been venturing into poetry as well. Profession-wise, I am a full-time novel editor (I do both line and substantive) and own an editing service called Pen Paper Coffee (You can contact us at http://facebook.com/PenPaperCoffee or mail us at ppcwritingbuddies@gmail.com). Ok, enough of the hard sell. :P I have also opened a publishing house here in India called Fireworm Publishing and we aspire to publish coffee table books, novellas, and graphic novels. We also have our first magazine out named UnBound (the first issue is available for FREE download on Smashwords). I aspire to be a screenwriter as well and am working on a number of stories. I adore fiction. Other than writing and editing, my passion includes reading. I read all genres, but fantasy and horror are the most prominent ones. I also love to watch TV Shows and I have a huge list of favorites. I can keep listing them, but I fear this post will become too long (if it is not already long :P) I think this forum is the best thing for people who aspire to be in the film/TV industry. Being a busybody that I am, I have kind of neglected this website for a while, but I intend to step up my activity in forums and groups here and would love to make connections that would be mutually beneficial. I am not exactly new to this site. Some of you may know me. Some of you may not. But I would like to get to know each and every one of you if I can. Nice meeting you peeps.
