I'm Geoffrey Gould, a lifelong character actor who grew up on the stage in northern New Jersey, now acting in Los Angeles. You can find me on imdb, on twitter at realbadger (currently 8660+ Followers, and [due my activity], average acquiring about 125+ legit new Followers per week). The google search term "geoffrey gould demo reel" will bring up my comedy-focused 85 second commercial sizzle reel on YouTube. While much of my work has been general to Very Featured background (I have a commercial agent and still seeking TV/Theatrical representation), my principal work has included a Superbowl spot (as an ostrich-chased postman), a Day Player gig on "The Practice" (with Sharon Stone running her fingers through my hair), and close to 200 various student films (USC, LA Film School, NY Film Academy, UCLA, et al). I solo-voiced the short "The Pride of Strathmoor" (now viewable on Vimeo), which won 2015 Slamdance's Jury Award for Best Animated Short. I also recently starred in the indie feature film "Everything," now in post production. To my amusement, the production even created a wikipedia entry for/on me. I also write short films (mostly comedies), which have been well received with the L.A. based actor-writer-filmmaker collective We Make Movies; for one script the actors liked it so much we're filming it in January. [If that shoot goes well, I am hoping the crew involved will assist in another short of mine, which has its cast attached...] I love being/working on set. I'm very directable and love promoting productions on which I've worked: I do comedy (dry, cerebral, to slapstick and low-brow), drama, intense dark roles, etc., and I hope I can be of service to your upcoming projects...!
I've seen shows there, but never performed there; mostly I performed at the Studio Playhouse in Upper Montclair (love Lambert Castle at the Paterson border, btw). I also did numerous shows with Livingston Community Players. Where in L.A. are you? I'm in Hollywood. As a screenwriter, you might want to check out We Make Movies' free Wednesday night events, including but not limited to script table-read nights (after the actors do the reading, the writer gets audience feedback from other writers, film makers, actors, et al).
Cool.
Hello, Geoffrey, Nice to meet you.
