So I experienced an outage overnight into this afternoon. After this outage, I had to make a new account and I'm not alone. If any admin sees this, please message me as I need access to those messages and all my posts! Comment if you're in the same boat!

Andrew, I agree with you. I think the system has become very unstable recently. I'm sure they're trying to fix it but it's getting so bad that I may just have to give up.
Being in southern Maine just starting out, this is my only way of self-promotion at the moment, I cannot give up

I don't want to get "political" but the site instability has increased since the inauguration. (Hush hush)
After the site crash I think they put in a backup from 2 weeks ago, which is why so much stuff is missing (like a big chunk of my network and messages). At first all my profile details were gone, too, but they came back this evening. I won't fret over it.

All my updates over the last week, including new video, new network friends, are gone.
I think Wayne is right, RB usually posts on these in some form and I sent a PM, So he can clear it up... I too blame Russia! Haha! And Travis, I'm "sure" that's "nothing" ;)

I'm a member in a technical stage/theater/touring roadshow forum, it's free and this has never happened, nor has it happened on a Professional Cinematography forum I belong to. Neither have an I.T. staff either.
My understanding is that a lot of the recent issues have been third party related (I've been informed as such). They are indeed working with them and through each and every one of these issues. Yes, it's been frustrating—no doubt—certainly for members and especially for tech. Stage 32 is run by a small group of passionate, awesome people who care greatly about providing access and opportunity, and are serving 500,000+ members on this—yes—free platform. No membership fees. Don't know how that compares to other free niche platforms; don't see how that is relevant. I don't know about recent missing content, but the site appears to have "rolled back." I lost stuff myself, recent networking, etc. And I lost access for a couple of days too—it was rather patchy. However, when this happened before most missing information/images/etc came back. So while I know and understand patience is wearing thin, please hold on. Know they are working on it. And informing tech about issues is very helpful. Thanks. :)

Hey Andrew. Yikes! Sorry to hear that! Did you just join? It seems site activity over the past two weeks is now missing. Perhaps your new membership was affected? That's my guess? When my access came back up, I just had to enter my email address and my password. My account came up just fine—although roughly missing the past two weeks of activity. I'm sorry, I am not a member of the tech team. It still could all come back. You reported your issue, yes? I can send in an inquiry as well. Lemme send in some messages... ;)
I was able to replace my latest film credit and logline that got zapped. I can't however get back newer network friends, links, or my new trailer video. And the trailer video upload had been disabled for months before this. I FINALLY got the new vid up last week, but again, the uploader is stuck.
UPDATE: I've just been in touch with the crew and they are working around the clock. Some posts may have been lost due to these server, hardware and hosting problems. Some may end up being recovered. They are on it. And doing the best they can with all the man and woman power they have. Also, as you might imagine, with hundreds of thousands of active members and hundreds upon hundreds of emails coming in, they're juggling those as well—they are seeing all the tech support reports even if they are not currently responding, so thanks for those! Please know that these issues are being addressed. So hold on. Thank you so much for all the support, contributions, and for your patience. Very very much appreciated. :)
Anyone who joined in the past two weeks no longer have accounts, and I made an account just like the old one, will they merge?
Hi Andrew. That would probably be best answered by tech. My guess is no? However some of your content may be retrieved. It may come back. I assume you used the same email address, same name, password, etc, yes? Anyway, let me send in a message. For now, I suggest you just keep doing your thing, continue with your current membership account. Hopefully this will all work out soon. :)

I've noticed an awful lot of third-party activity on the site lately. If they're contracting out to, or making deals with, any of them, I'd seriously rethink those decisions! And add a CAPTCHA feature, to boot. :D
