Introduce Yourself : Working to take the next steps... by Jess Hatton

Hello folks! I am an aspiring young screenwriter currently in the process of applying for my Masters in Screenwriting somewhere in the UK. My favorite genres include period drama, alternative teen movies, gothic/literary/classic horror, fantasy adventure, and unconventional romances. The goal when I write films is to educate about themes relevant to today's generations as well as opening the doors to new worlds and possibilities. Projects that I am currently working on include re-writing an old high school story relating to teen depression, self-harm, substance abuse and giving a voice to victims of sexual assault into a feature length film and doing research into the life of one of the most famous Russian Cold War assassins to write my first historical biopic feature. I am super chill to talk to and always open to meeting new faces!
