Margaret, It can be incredibly helpful. If you get a chance, check out my latest BLOG on a movie I recently produced. It's called, "A Hollywood Story You Can't Make Up." Just click on BLOG and it should still be on Page 2. Click on "2" at the bottom and scroll down, you will see it in the left-hand column. Welcome! I just joined this month. It's such an awesome community full of creatives with extensive knowledge. The best part is we can use one another's strengths, weaknesses and help one another grow, so, yes! Just as Pamela said, ask a lot of questions and no question is a stupid question, I feel like the film industry is like medicine, always developing (that's one of my other loves) but I think we're all here because we bleed the same thing, creativity, meeting like-minded individuals and to explore!

My main concern is that I was diagnosed with crps a rare chronic pain diagnosis and I don’t know how that would work in the business.
