Question #1: What's your favorite movie? (Check out the dramatic cloud photo from last weekend.) . My favorite movie of all time is "Dances With Wolves."
Hi Greg - I shoot a lot of time lapse sunrise/sunset/cloud footage. Favorite movie? I don't have a single movie but there are several that I admire and study for various reasons. I like The Bridges of Madison County for its story within a story structure. I like The Hurt Locker for its interwoven A, B, C story tapestry - Jaws for similar reasons. Bad Day at Black Rock for its use of color and scene blocking and one of my favorite just entertainment movies is Leaves of Grass. There are several more for various and sundry reasons and there are many that I think are of absolutely of no value whatsoever.
Hi - Doug - Jaws is one of the best. The scene where they are talking about scars, and it evolves into the U.S.S. Indianapolis story is etched into my mind. Thanks for mentioning it.
Hi Reginald - I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't seen any of the LoTR movies, except the animated TV show from way, way back. I'll put it on my list. Thanks!
Hi Ana - Is it possible that Titanic was so "big" that it is underrated as a story? For the record, if I was the old lady, I would have sold that necklace and purchased Apple Stock at their IPO.
Not familiar with "Brawl," but looked it up and hit had some great ratings. It's now on my list. Thanks for the heads-up!
