Hi Everyone, I'm Karl Nykwest. I'm an editor from Pittsburgh, that enjoys narrative and documentary work, but more often than not find myself working post production on commercial projects for public relations and marketing companies. I've been working in the industry since 2011 when I started freelancing.
I also run my own small company that I started with my colleague Stephanie Trainer called Cunning Folk Films. When I'm not editing, I'm usually exercising my creativity through writing. I'm always excited to collaborate with new people, particularly when it means learning from their experiences and joining forces to create something a little different.
