I've been a member here for exactly a year now, but haven't interacted much... in part because I feel I haven't totally figured out this space yet, in part because imposter syndrome, in part because I'm a big phoney, in part because I don't have any "real" screenwriting credits yet, in part because I'm self-conscious of how many times I use the phrase "in part" in my posts.
I've published four books of experimental writing with indie Canadian presses and am fairly wholly consumed by my family and teaching college English courses for most of the year. My dream is to act, but not many gigs hit my corner of the world, so I've started writing short films, sketches, stand-up, sitcom pilots, features... not that I have any idea of what do anything with them.
I originally joined Stage32 in hopes of finding a community of writers, directors, producers, etc. I figured this season might be ripe to finally reach out. I mostly use Twitter at the moment for posting stand-up and short vids; feel free to find me over that-a-way: @kay_emmee
Here's a short "sketch" featuring my 4-year-old; he recently asked to start making sketches with me. Thanks for reading, watching, and connecting!

Just because you don't yet have any writing credits does not mean you're a phony. Not at all. If you're writing, you're a writer. Keep persevering, Kevin. If you ever want to talk things through, by all means get in touch. Either here or via www.philmscribe.com
