I apologize in advance, i know this isn't the right lounge to ask for the kind of help i'm looking for but i'm giving it a shot as you might know way more than me on that matter.
My question is about sound. Next month i'm gonna direct my own horror feature and sound plays a big role in it. Unfortunately i don't have sufficient funds to hire a proper sound production team.
I have a Rode mic attached to my camera and a H4 zoom. I will need to record lots of specific Foleys for the lead.
Therefore, is it better to record the foleys with the rode mic (unidirectional) or the zoom?
Would love to have your thoughts on it as i'm pretty anxious about that part.
