Working on locating a show runner for a dark comedy supernatural hour long TV series looking at the battle between life and death. The show is grandfathered into 181 and in the seeking world investors stage. Just finished up production of a feature. I’m in development for a wide range of features that are all grandfathered into 181.
Hey, Patti Price! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! Congrats on your series being greenlit, that's awesome! Honestly, if you have a deal with a network for your show without a showrunner attached, they'll suggest/give you one. The real question I would ask is - who is helping you run your writer's room and is that person willing to be trained up as a showrunner (where they could co-showrun with the network appointee).
But don't take my word for it! You can post your inquiry in the Producing Lounge: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing Or if you're hiring, you can post a job listing here: https://www.stage32.com/find-jobs/add Have you pitched your dark comedy series to any of our executives? https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions Definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives (or managers, in your case): J.Mirch@stage32.com
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time. Cheers!
