Hello All!
I've been on Stage 32 for a while now but haven't been super active. I just posted some of my recent work on my profile including a Telly and a regional Emmy submission (fingers crossed). They're being accepted into film festivals around the globe. I'm also a part of a huge 20+ year project which will re-write history (the actual start of WWII) but that requires quite a bit of funding to provide scientific evidence required to finish the project (our current "wall" stopping us in our tracks, sadly). Trying to figure out how to raise the money? Once we somehow cross that hurdle, it'll open up opportunities for multiple reality and documentary-drama series. Javier Pena and Steve Murphy of Netflix Narcos fame are on our team. A writer will someday be needed for the documentary-drama.
Perhaps someday I hope to tap in to the talents of the Stage 32 community.
So glad you stepped out to be active Jeff! Only good things come when you put yourself out there in our Stage 32 community. What a fascinating project this is! It looks like you're trying to raise $150k to do the research, might make sense to lay out a budget of what that $150k is earmarked for so financiers understand where that investment is going. I'm sure offering them producer credit if the project goes. I like the "What happened to Amelia Earhart?" part of your teaser, too - you guys did a great job with it. Hi Amanda, thanks for the kudos as well as the post on our teaser. My team and I are recently re-inspired from your recent Netflix webinar. Seems we just have to wait Covid out to get moving again since we lost our roll a year ago. (our teammates worked with Netflix extensively with the initial creation of Narcos). We'll take your advice to breakdown the $150K for investors. We're made up of all creatives, not business guru's, so the money & business end of what we need to accomplish escapes us at the moment. Will tap into Stage 32 deeper as we go.
