Producing : Was the last book you read printed on paper or digital? by Cherelynn Baker

Was the last book you read printed on paper or digital?

Or, do you prefer to read your screenplays in paper form or digital?

I'm asking for two fold reason and appreciate any opinions you prefer to share in the comments.

Reason for asking: I prefer paper. I think digital copies of a screenplay are easily shared and also easily pilfered and ideas stolen. I know paper costs more though in my opinion it has a level of security and trust as well as it just feels good to sit down, coffee in hand, pen and highlighter ready and peel back the cover of a script and begin reading.

I'm getting some projects ready and planning a sumptuous paper weight to the printed script. Just curious on your thoughts!

So, was the last book or screenplay you read, paper or digital?

Thank you in advance. You rock!

i am currently reading Don Winslow, "The Force." Digital download for $1.99. I prefer paper but $1.99 is too cheap to pass

Yes Dan, I do enjoy the free digital books on Amazon kindle unlimited. Thanks for sharing.

It's a lovely thought, but I suspect most people read on the go

and would like to avoid lugging around a paper script.

Paper....if I receive a digital copy of the script I always ask it is ok to print out. I found it is easier for me to make notes on the script as I read it.

Than you all for sharing your thoughts and opinions!

I've been reading screenplays on my phone for awhile now. Recently I've been reading a few memoirs for potential projects, while also providing feedback to fellow writers.

I always favor paper over screens! So the books I read are always paper, however with screenplays I tend to read them digitally to save paper. However, if it is a project I am acting in, or sides for an audition, I ALWAYS print them out so I can make notes on the page
