Jason Blackwell cheers! I also built a crime drama feature screenplay a while back,
it's a compelling genre I think based on our absorbing a lot of 20th-century cinema and also witnessing the state of USA and the world (my story was set in Europe and North Africa)
we as artists respond to our surroundings and work to analyze and process human emotions around all kinds of stories that carry the immediacy of our times.
