TABLE READ
Hello Interested Actors,
I'm organizing an in person, first table read for my feature film script called “TRAIN 8”. We need to hear how it reads. It will be one table read with a discussion afterwards of any comments and thoughts from the actors is welcome.
Genre: Horror/Thriller
Length of script: 105 pages
This is a non-paying assignment- ( * food and beverages will be provided).
Logline: “A dedicated CDC scientist discovers a deadly pathogen has found its way onto a passenger train racing across the northern US bound for Chicago. The virus is spreading rapidly through the Train, the passengers facing certain death. Its ground zero. She must safely contain the deadly Virus to the Train or risk a world ending catastrophic pandemic?”

CLAIRE – Woman - mid 20’S (acts much older, Sister is Emily) – Pet Groomer/Struggling Artist
EMILY – Woman – early 30’s (Opposite of Sister Claire) – Corporate Lawyer
RICHARD – Man – 40’s – Businessman
TYLER – Man – early 20’s – Train Conductor –
LANA – Woman – early 40’s – CDC Scientist
FRANK – Male – 30’s – Train Bartender
HARRIS – Male – 50’s – Military General
NICK – Male – early 20’s – GameStop Manager
POWELL – Male - Late 30’s – Black Ops Officer
LILY – Woman – early 20’s – Professional Gamer/Influencer
KYLE – Male - late 20’s – CDC scientist - Associate of Lana’s
ROSARIO – Woman - Mid 20’s – Train Cook
Support Characters
I’ll need 2- 4 readers – 2 men and 2 women that can read different character support lines.
