Hello, my name is Lindsey and I am a camera operator and video editor. I enjoy all aspects of video production from pre to post production and would love to meet some like-minded creatives who want to share their passions, create opportunities with, and maybe make some friendships along the way. I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had working in a very corporate video environment, however, my real passion lies in narrative film and television. I started a project in May of 2023 called The FilmGirl Project which is a place where I can escape outside of my normal 9-5 job to fill that void of creativity. I'm a big movie nerd, so attending fan conventions and meeting people who have worked on some of my favorite films and tv shows have inspired me to keep doing what I love which is shooting. I started posting videos of my experiences in hopes to encourage others out there who feel stuck to keep doing what they love.
What I've got going on right now if interested...

Hi Lindsey Jones! Nice to meet you! I love attending fan conventions, too. I haven't been to one since the pandemic, but I hope to go to some more in the future. They are inspiring. Who are some of the favorite people you've met at them?
Post production rocks. I really enjoy editing.
And the FilmGirl Project is cool! I looked at your website. Thank you for putting out positive vibes. The world needs them. :)

Dustin Richardson Thanks Dustin! Oh that's a hard one. The Scream 1996 cast are amazing people. I loved talking with Kirk Thatcher (writer/producer/director) about cameras. He told me some funny stories about working on The Last Jedi and E.T. Meeting Ve Neill (special fx makeup artist) was also really special because she told me a cute story about working with Robin Williams in Mrs Doubtfire. I fangirl over the behind the scenes people more so than actors. Rick Rosenthal (Director/writer/producer) was also very sweet. I met Josh Stolberg (writer of Saw X) randomly through a friend and he was super nice. He asked me what my favorite horror movies were and I went "Scream, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St......oh and Saw."
