Exploring Depth and Spirit in Miracle of the Harbor: A Polyphonic Journey with Pipe Organ, Traditional Instruments, and Unique Modes

In Miracle of the Harbor, we explore a rich polyphonic texture, led by the majestic pipe organ that lends a spiritual and miraculous essence to the piece. Supporting instruments include a solo violin, a violin section, and the daf, a traditional Iranian percussion instrument, alongside a prominent lute. This composition uniquely blends two Turkish modes, sometimes incorporating flat notes for added nuance. To enhance the atmosphere, we’ve incorporated horns, chimes, and multiple percussion layers for subtle effects, highlighting the organ as the central and most impactful instrument.
