Introduce Yourself : Actor/Director, moving Ithaca to Chicago by Josh Sedelmeyer

Hey folks, This May, I graduated from Ithaca College, BFA Acting. Currently, I'm still living in Ithaca, NY, and trying to save up a little extra so I can move to Chicago. Working on directing a production of Pirandello's 6 Characters in Search of An Author, aiming to set the play here in Dillingham Center (the theatre building at IC), while doing justice to the original, brilliant text. I have an adaptation of the Tempest that I'd also love to stage someday, full of masks, music, and magic. As my actor self, I'm a big fan of classics as well as new works, really anything that has heart and a joyfully creative team. Favorite past roles include Edgar in King Lear, Friar Peter in Measure for Measure, and the ensemble (John/Judas) of Godspell. I also have voice and dance training, and absolutely love to travel (Have been to Spain, Moscow, London, Stratford, Puerto Rico, and more!) . Cheers!
