Hi I'm Jean Tuite, actress

Hi I'm a Hollywood trained actress who's back in Dallas again where I'm from also learning the voiceover biz. I'm also on IMDB, IMDBpro and some other acting sites like Actors Access, Now Casting, L.A. Casting and Casting Frontier. I enjoy when I have the opportunity to audition for a studio or more high profile Indy film but also when time permits enjoy being in low or even no budget indies and student films. I've been at this seriously over 10 years now and am also doing a little writing also. But growing up I was in dance recitals and then high school musicals and choir. Previous careers have and still include sometimes: substitute school teaching in both TX and CA, news reporter/editor, insurance agent, advertising/cosmetic/jewelry sales, background actor/extra, market research, and temp office. I'm considering being a bartender if I can and have a certificate to support my acting goals. I have a lot of Hollywood training and my initial degree is in journalism. The most challenging part of this biz to me because I love it so much is working at my other lines of work to support my acting vision because I really just want to act and be in projects all the time but it's not that easy to book paying acting work on a regular basis to make a living. I'm also trying to learn how to self tape auditions and might consider acting coaching with all my training and eventually might finish a webisode etc. I'm always open to meeting new cinematographers for audition taping and to possibly eventually film a scene for a webisode or short. Only a small percentage of actors in the 100s of thousands are able to do that. I'm also open to learning other parts of the biz utilizing my degree and other skills like script supervisor, script analyst, casting and being a publicist to name a few but am hoping to book some voiceover work as selling insurance is not that fun but it is very important and we have to know how to sell ourselves as actors and I've met a lot characters in that in the past and also when I was full time in the news biz. Assisting in wardrobe sounds interesting too. Of course I want to be a full time actress: age range 39 to 55. This is a fun business which also requires a lot of work, training, experience, dedication and patience. But I think if we really love it and be patient we will be rewarded for cultivating our talent.
