About Piotr

I am a polish-based screenwriter, a member of Polish Screenwriters' Guild. I worked as a staff writer, story editor and executive story editor on numerous TV series in Poland, including ‘Ultraviolet’ created by ‘The Dexter’s’ creator Wendy West and ‘Stulecie Winnych’ - one of the biggest hits in Polish television of the last decades. Now I pursuit new challenges and I want to try myself in writing for western markets.

I am a big lover of movies and TV series that have their own 'visual identity' and are told in their own uniqe style, in regard both to the story itself and the visuals. I'd love to work on shows like 'Galavant', 'Why women kill', 'Only murders in the building', 'Stranger Things', 'Shmigadoon', 'The baby' or 'You' and write movies in style of 'Down with love', 'Moulin Rouge' or 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'. I also have a soft spot for musicals and retro crime stories (like 'Murdoch Mysteries' on CBC).

In private life I am a happy husband of a fellow-wirter wife (we often co-operate on film and TV projects) and a father of the most unbelievable and the most beatufiul creature in the world - my 2-year-old daughter.
