Lauren C. Snowden

As a person of color, Lauren grew up in a small town with a culturally and economically diverse population, which has given her a widely varied perspective on life. Her life experiences are ingrained in her work as an artisan and they have gifted to her a unique voice and vision as a storyteller.

Lauren wrote and directed her first TV-pilot titled, "thE rEAsOn," which premiered in Tribeca as a finalist at the 2014 New York Television Festival. In spring 2016, her short psychological thriller, "ProdiGal," aired on CBS, and her murder mystery "Redemption in Cherry Springs," premiered on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Network, last fall. In addition to her creative work, Lauren is an assistant professor of Film Studies, and serves as program lead for the discipline.

Lauren’s passion is to tell transformative stories that encourage and inspire others to embrace life’s journey with grace and hope.
