About Jamie

After a stint as a Navy pilot from 1985-1992, I became a lawyer and have practiced law for more than 25 years.

In the past 20 years, I’ve written 17 feature length screenplays, most with badass female leads. One of my recent projects is a one-hour television pilot, War Party. In addition to the screenplays, I’ve written two unpublished novels, Call Sign Dragon and Call Sign Kill Switch.

In 2001, I co-wrote and produced Behind the Nine, which I fondly call the best $6,000.00 movie ever made. In 2009 and 2010, I wrote, directed, and self-produced two plays, The Affair and Frat Girl. I helped produce the features Cruiser in 2016 and Full Count in 2019.
