About DT

Santa Barbara born/raised. Ex-Division 1 Point Guard with a knock down 3-ball and a wicked crossover. Still feel like I'm 20, but after back-to-back Rec Ball League playoff games, my legs assure me I'm not. "KT Tape" knows my body pretty well these days.

Worked in Music Artist Management for a while. Thought about Law School about 422 times, but that's just not the writing I enjoy. Music works its way into most of my projects, from a Family Reunion-set comedy, to a full-throttle, female-driven two-hander studio actioner, to a 90s music biopic about the late, great Jeff Buckley, which needs to get made before the dang world forgets him entirely. A generational talent and shooting star. Gone so soon.

I've had some great reps, worked with some great people/producers like Sid Ganis, Stephanie Allain, Alan Riche & Peter Riche, Maguire Entertainment, the Zanuck Company, and I hope to work with many more as my journey evolves.

Family man, dad and coach to a young sharpshooter named Hudson, who's never met a shot he didn't love. ("Pass the ball, boy!") The kid might just crack the NBA and make me doggone proud. (If not a wee bit jealous!) Long suffering Clippers fan here. Maybe it's their year. James Harden, please surprise us, bro. It's probably now or never. Hope springs eternal...

Unique traits: I can build a race car for the track. Design & plant a perennial garden. Pontificate on why George Clinton and P-Funk matter. Grill a Rib-Eye with Blue Cheese that might wreck you. In the best way possible. (Vegans, exempt, of course.) Turn 10 kids with big hearts and little talents, into overachieving champs. Write in more than one genre. Well.
