SYNOPSIS:
Reverend Mother Martha runs a convent in a small town in the late 1940s. One day, a young woman named Hope appears at the convent door. Unaware of her pregnancy, Mother Martha and her two most loyal nuns, Sister Ruth and Sister Eva, take her in. When it is too late, and in order to avoid scandal, they hide her in a cloister. But sadly, Hope dies giving birth, leaving her son Caleb in charge of the nuns.
Caleb has been born with several malformations in his body. To keep the church's reputation intact, Rev. Mo. Martha opts to leave the baby in charge of a poor peasant couple. Time passes, and Caleb sees himself rejected by everyone because of his appearance, which leads him to live in complete isolation.
Things change when Phoebe, a new novice, and the new priest, Father Daniel, enter the convent. Caleb will realize that there are people capable of accepting him just as he is, and his heart will try to give people another chance. But something does not seem right, and Rev. Mo. Martha will do anything to uncover the truth about her suspicion while also hiding the past that keeps coming back.
