A group of lovable losers discovers that their newly gentrified neighborhood is home to a rare and expensive breed of snail. When they hatch a ridiculous plan to harvest and sell the snails to gourmet restaurants, they must find a way to not only rebuild themselves, but save their neighborhood from a corrupt businesswoman wanting to take over.
SYNOPSIS:
Connor, Mason, and Wyatt are three Boston-raised buddies who made a pact after graduating college: If none of them achieved their respective dreams by the time they're thirty, they'll move back in with each other and rebuild their lives together. Fast forward ten years: Connor's girlfriend kicked him out after he was fired. Mason made a fool of himself and now he's trending like crazy, and Wyatt gets fired on the same day his apartment was robbed.
Needless to say, they move back in with each other. Only their South Boston neighborhood is nothing like they remember. All of the culture and color from their college days has been replaced with bland stores and vapid millennials living in ignorance. With an increased rent, the guys go magnet fishing to find any salvageable junk. But luck was smiling down on those boys as they discover a super rare and super delicious breed of sea snail that can be farmed and sold with relative ease. With a new business on their hands and the looming threat of losing their once proud home, they'll soon learn that just like snails, their worth lies far beyond their appearance.
