Behind the iron fence lining crotchety Old Man's yard lies an expansive hillside - which, to young Eli, makes for the most perfect snowboarding slope. With his friend Jenna as a lookout, he dares to do what no other kid has been able to accomplish: hop the fence without being admonished. But what Eli and Jenna have come to learn, though, is that perhaps Old Man wasn't just trying to keep them out... Maybe he was trying to keep something else, something dangerous, locked in.
