By Kevin T. Stein

GENRE: Crime, Drama
LOGLINE: A diamond thief flying under the radar gets pulled into a Russian crime ring set on using his skills to pull off a multi-million dollar job that just may leave him dead.

SYNOPSIS:

Youngblood is at the top of his game. He owns the hottest nightclub in town. He has a small but growing hip hop recording studio.  His staff respects him, his customers love him, and every girl wants him.  But he has a secret the flashing lights and glamorous style hide from all but a chosen few. He is a very skilled jewel thief, and has been collecting his take over the years, getting closer and closer to the completion of his grand “Plan.” When he comes to the red X on his calendar, only weeks away, he will turn his back on the life and live quiet and free and hopefully, in love with the damaged yet breathtaking woman who has just started to unbalance his carefully crafted life. Everything changes when his trusted fence is murdered and Youngblood is approached by a Russian crime boss that styles herself Mother Christmas.  This woman is as harsh and brutal as they come, and Youngblood soon finds out that she was the one who killed his fence to get to him. Mother Christmas wants Youngblood to work a multi-million dollar score. Youngblood knows the job could put him in prison or the grave, but he and his partner, Little G, decide to take on the job themselves and cut the Russians out. Youngblood puts together his team and taps the resources he needs to pull off the score.  He also visits his mentor and father figure who took him off the streets, Marsalis, suffering through his last living days in the hospital ward of a prison.  Youngblood owes the man his life and needs to get him under blue sky for his last breath. When he leaves Marsalis, Youngblood discovers every contact, every supplier, everything and everyone he needs to make this final score work has gone dark or missing. He realizes he’s been played and makes a final deal with Mother Christmas. If she can get Marsalis out of prison and into a medical facility, he will do the job for her. But now Youngblood is in the pocket of Mother Christmas, forcing his hand into pulling off this job through many avenues of blackmail and police corruption.  Youngblood finally puts everything into place.  But as he feared, the Russians don’t live up to their word. Youngblood’s life, and everyone he cares about, is as good as gone upon delivery. Youngblood has to choose just how far he is willing to take this game, and just how brutal he is willing to become. He must face the Russians alone, on their turf, with nothing but steel balls and a trail of bullet casings.  And if he’s lucky, he will walk away with the cash, the girl, and a life free from looking over his shoulder.
