About Lisa
I'm a freelance writer and editor based in Alaska. My work has appeared in National Geographic, Condé Nast Traveler, Fodor's, the New Zealand Herald, Outside Online, Discover Silversea, and many more. I have an irrepressible zest for life and passion for exploration: I have been body-slammed by a masked luchador, done my best Steve Urkel impression in hip-hop classes, and narrowly escaped being tossed upside-down into a pool in a simulated airplane fuselage, all in pursuit of a good story. And I can't wait to do it again!
