This documentary portrait explores the concept of alienation and escape through the life of singer Scout Niblett, one of the famous underground musicians of today. The concept of distance transcends the film, both through the images and the narration, in which we hear Scout share her personal experiences of being far away from home. The film impacts its audience especially through the intimate relation to the character. The distance between spectator and character dissolves. But when she starts singing, an artistic distance emerges. The story evolves around Scout Niblett and her band as they’re touring Europe. "Les Misérables: L'histoire de Floh" / 60' / French, English / fullHD / late development
This is a film inspired by the book of Victor Hugo «Les Misérables». A story about Floh, a girl who lives her everyday with a hope that maybe once her voice will be noticed and she will perform in front of a big auditory. She is surrounded by friends and strangers who lives in her same neighborhood and also sick for a good life. Teaser: Looking for a Belgian or French producer for this film.
