Four friends discover what love is while living in Brooklyn NY.

SYNOPSIS:

Dov is a thirty something Jewish man from an orthodox family. He, however, has completely disowned Judaism and wishes to ignore it as much as possible, of course that is difficult because he still lives at home with his very religious parents. Dov is also an unemployed aspiring writer and loves to sleep with girls.

Daniel is a thirty something African American man who loves poetry and art and expresses this love no matter what he's doing. He also has a very succesful career and provides for his younger brothers, but his father is somewhat of a con artist and always tries to borrow money from him. Daniel doesn't like to just sleep with girls, he's more about love than the physical aspects of it.

Dov and Daniel have been best friends since childhood.

Susan and Matthew have also been best friends since childhood, and they are also a romantic couple. Susan is a very talented artist and Matthew studied Economics and has a job in the city. They come from the midwest but moved to NY for school and now live there permanently. They befriended Daniel in a college class and the four of them have been tight ever since.
