About Amza

Amza Moglan is a Romanian cinematographer based in Los Angeles. He moved to the United States to study film at Columbia College in Chicago and after graduating top five of his class, he began working as a camera operator and cinematographer. Due to his early artistic influences, Amza enjoys a wide variety of art forms, and his work in cinematography is informed by his interest in painting, photography, and literature.
Amza got his start as a production assistant on Paul Thomas Anderson's THERE WILL BE BLOOD (2007), and never looked back. His cinematography portfolio includes shorts, commercials, music videos, and feature films such as HOW TO MAKE MONEY SELLING DRUGS (2011), THE RETURN OF JOHNNY V.
