A nanny and her friends protect a baby from her violent biological parents while the adoptive parents are away on vacation.

SYNOPSIS:

Brenna Huxley is pregnant, alone and afraid. Her boyfriend, Jacob Valdis, is doing time in jail and learns of her pregnancy while locked up. Jacob is less than pleased about Brenna’s pregnancy and demands that she “get rid of it.” Devastated, Brenna heads to a local park to watch children play, dreaming of what could have been with Jacob.

At the park, she meets Danielle Keane, a happily married woman who has been trying to conceive with her husband, Andrew. Unfortunately, Danielle and Andrew have been unsuccessful and they feel that time has run out. Brenna tells Danielle her predicament, and Danielle insists that she meet Andrew so that the Parks can adopt the baby Jacob doesn’t want.

Brenna meets Andrew in the stunning Keane mansion. The Parks offer Brenna a deal that she cannot refuse: $50,000 plus a room in the mansion until she has the baby, as well as all of her health costs covered. Brenna signs the contract and tells Jacob about the deal she made. Jacob is happy about the money, although he appears to want more. However, he’s behind bars and can’t do anything about it… yet.

Eighteen months later, Jacob is released from prison. Baby Emily has been legally adopted by the Keanes, who are celebrating their 20 year anniversary in Jamaica. They have left Emily with their very capable nanny, Nikki. Nikki meets up with her friends Cullen and Leann at the park with Emily, only to have a bizarre run-in with Brenna. Brenna attempts to take Emily from her stroller, but Nikki knocks her down. The police arrive after Brenna runs away, only to tell Nikki there is nothing that they can do.

A bit freaked out from the events at the park, Nikki invites Leann, Cullen, her brother Wyatt and Wyatt’s girlfriend Kate over for dinner. When the Keanes finally call, Nikki lets them know about what happened. Terrified for the safety of their daughter, they tell Nikki about a safe room in the nursery that they had installed when Emily was born. This leaves Nikki and her friends quite uneasy.

After dinner, they have an unlikely visitor: Brenna. Brenna attempts to get Emily, but Leann triggers the safe room, which ends up locking down the entire house. Unbeknownst to everyone but Brenna, Jacob is also locked in the house, determined to get his daughter and hold her for ransom.

Together, Nikki, Cullen, Kate and Wyatt have to survive the night in the Parks mansion, avoiding Jacob and Brenna at all costs, while Leann safely protects baby Emily. Not everyone makes it out alive, and the police don’t know what is happening inside.

Faced with the task of protecting baby Emily, the Keane mansion and all of her friends inside, Nikki takes the responsibility of being a nanny to the next level.
