About Shaelyn

I lived abroad during childhood and have, mostly, since then lived in Los Angeles. An English major, former high school language arts/drama teacher and once children's book store owner, I always seek a good story. My interest in writing screenplays began in college during a course in TV writing. I wrote THRICE, my first screenplay, after the birth of my daughter and have been writing a variety of screenplays since. I juggle family life (having added a son as well) and screenwriting, and love both jobs.

Unique traits: I lose every single thumb-war because of my very short, stubby thumbs.
