Creating stories and collaborating with fellow creatives gives Tracey-Lee life! She works as a Producer, Writer and Story Consultant across all genres for local and international production companies and networks. As a story specialist, Tracey-Lee worked on more than 40 short films including the award winning short ‘Address Unknown’ as well as past Oscar contender ‘The Hangman’. Tracey-Lee co-develops feature length films, the most recent is ‘Seriously Single’ streaming on Netflix. She works with national and provincial film funds as a feature film story editor as well as Netflix Africa. Tracey-Lee’s development company Stiletto runs story development programmes for both the Kwazulu Natal Film Commission (Film Fund) and Gauteng Film Commission (Film Fund). She is an alumni of the UK based Thomson Foundation, Talent Campus 2008 (DFM) and Sediba Masters (NFVF). Tracey-Lee is a proud member of the Writers Guild of South Africa as well as a member of
SWIFT (female specialists in the South African Industry). Tracey-Lee is currently developing her feature film Unlikely Cadre and has secured funding to direct her short film, the Garden of Rein in 2021.
