SYNOPSIS:

Francis LaCroix is a pessimistic septic truck driver in his mid-twenties who lacks motivation to do anything with his life, despite loathing his job, as well as his awkward boss, Curly. He spends his work days cleaning out porta-potties, and with a seemingly endless stretch of bad luck, all too often results in him being showered in human waste. When he's not working, he tries to find ways to show his ex girlfriend Claire, who breaks up with him in the pilot, that he is maybe capable of being more ambitious and less negative all the time. Though that proves much harder than it seems. He spends his evenings in his apartment he shares with his best friend Chester, smoking weed and complaining about pretty much everything. Chester McMillan, also in his mid-twenties, works at a second hand sex toy store called Toy's For Twats. This is probably the weirdest store in the world because they accept donations for used sex toys. Chester is high more often than not, mainly to deal with the fact that his boss, Greta, is also his moms lover. Despite hating his job as well as the extremely awkward mother/boss situation, and being perpetually stoned, Chester is actually the ambition one of the pair. He spends his free time coming up with insane schemes to get the duo out of their jobs, and onto a happier path in life, albeit in very strange ways. In the pilot, Chester shares just a few of his ideas with Francis on how to get them out of their jobs. These schemes include a wrestling themed restaurant where all the food is wrestler and wrestling move based food puns. This idea comes from the two sharing a love for wrestling, and something they bonded over when they met when they were little kids. Another plot of his is to try and become porn producers because, "that's where the money's at." He spews porn parody titles one after another at Francis as he sits in a haze of marijuana smoke. They aren't completely sure what they want to do, but they know they need to try sooner or later to break out of their cycle of complacency, before they're stuck in their unhappy situations forever. When we came up with the general idea for this series, it was clear from when we finished the pilot that it would work best as half hour long episodes of uninterrupted ridiculous jokes, and over the top situations. We feel that as a series, a streaming service is where it would be best served. The foul language and insane themes and situations would work the best if the half hour episodes played out with no breaks, and no filters.

We imagined this series following these odd friends as a story of two down on their luck misfits who, after much persuasion from Chester and his schemes, actually try and change their lives for the better, usually with hilariously unfortunate results along the way. Chester's business ideas range from Cheesus Crust, a pizza joint aimed at taking advantage of the blind faith of religious communities. Fight Mom's, which Chester describes as "American Gladiators, but with soccer moms beating the shit out of each other." As well as various ideas for apps such as Asstime and Nipflix. We envisioned as the series progressed, that they would actually apply for a business license after sitting through a shady business seminar together. After trying to get a business loan, or having to borrow money from Chester's mom and her lover, which could set up a ton of comedic situations, the two actually open up a business together based on one of Chester's crazy ideas. So much comedy could come from these two guys trying to keep a very bizarre business afloat. As we continue to write and shape this weird little world, we will continue to flesh out these characters, as well as provide more depth for the supporting characters that were introduced in the pilot as well. Francis' ex girlfriend Claire, will come in and out much more frequently as Francis tries to win her back, and also possibly helping the two here and there with their schemes. The guys could end up end up having to move in with Claire, which would be a situation ripe with hilarious situations. Maybe Claire gets pregnant at some point down the line, and that would be a huge curveball in their lives. Greta, Chester's moms lover, will play a bigger part as well, just based on the weirdness of her and Chester's relationship, which we feel is too funny not to explore a whole lot more. We truly feel that there is so much potential in these characters and situations for a hilarious, awkward, and at times, even heartfelt series. Packed full of crude jokes, oddly likable characters, and dreams so outrageous, that they just may work out. Maybe.
