In Burbank Ca. is a down on her luck widow hairstylist, Joy, who must learn to get along with irritating co-workers and moody actors on a low budget movie on location, while her loser brother-in-law watches her 2 tween boys back at home. To save her house from foreclosure, she must survive in this NOT-SO-MUCH glamorous slice of show business.

Joy truly wants to change her direction in life more so now since her husband died. The clock is ticking. She relies to Oracle Angel cards to show her the answers of guidance.

Joy is resilient while multitasking flawlessly with chaos dealing with contentious, promiscuous co-workers.

Knowing her boys need guidance and rightly so, it should be her giving this to them.

She truly takes a huge leap of faith hoping her Brother-in-law has her back. With his own agenda at hand, Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll...he doesn’t .

She falls back on the trust of an old romance with the producer to bail her out financially, plus agreeing to help her with a script she wrote getting it pitch perfect for a meeting he sets up for her.
