MAKING A LIVING
By Jay Han-San

GENRE: Thriller, Drama
LOGLINE:

A retired management consultant is back in the game with a hidden agenda in the middle of a huge merger when a corporation wants him to make a too-good-to-be-true deal happen.

SYNOPSIS:

We take 'House of Cards' with a pinch of 'Scandal' in a corporate war drama - think 'Suits' with Frank Underwood running the show, think John Grisham's 'Partner' wrapped in warm and fuzzy gloves of Santa's hangover, think Creasy from 'Man on Fire' in a 10k suit with a pen and a brain instead of a Glock and an RPG. This is 'Making a Living'.

Jack is a tough transformation and change management consultant. He lost his luck after the suicide of an employee of a company he had pushed too much five years ago. He went all the way down from 10k suit to working at a travel agency call-center.

Blindex is about to merge with Lynden Gates making it the biggest merger on the energy market since oil was discovered. Blindex desperately needs an advisor, facilitator, and right person to lose some fat and make the balance sheet look good. That's when one of VPs hire Jack.

Jack starts by getting himself a personal assistant (Rem). A recent graduate with zero experience and a Middle Eastern royalty trainee - Abdul (in fact he's just the third in line for the throne in some North African kingdom), but smart and can serve the purpose.

Jack onboards a small startup company that can raise the stakes in the whole merger/acquisition scenario - the company that invented an alternative energy tech that can potentially cost billions.

This is where we start... The real motive behind is hidden inside Jack's head...
