About Rogan

Born and raised on the Canadian side of the Detroit border in the midwest Great Lakes region. As the son of a critical care Nurse and healthcare administrator, I grew-up heavily influenced by the plight of generational deterioration in midwestern rust-belt manufacturing communities on both sides of the Canada-US border. I was a two-sport athlete at Queen's University (Canada), lettering in Football & Track and Field. At Queen's, I completed a degree in Mathematics and Statistics, followed by a second degree in Applied Economics.

After college, I worked briefly in Corporate Finance and Business Intelligence while auditioning in Toronto and Vancouver and began booking small roles. After a string of small bookings that culminated in an appearance with Eric Stoltz on the short-lived Battlestar Gallactica prequel Caprica, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in Acting and Filmmaking at Sanford Meisner's legendary Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. Later, I enrolled at the UCLA School of Film, Television, and Theatre where I studied screenwriting.

I've been active for thirteen years as an actor in American and Canadian film and television productions for CBS TV, NBC-U, Lifetime, The CW, 20th Century Fox, and many more. I have been privileged to have been directed by two filmmakers whos work left imprints on my formative years: Chris Carter's "X-Files", and Robert Lieberman's "Fire In The Sky". I have also been extremely privileged to act with David Duchovny on the series finale of X-Files. I have been developing myself as a writer since 2009, and as an Auteur since 2013. In the last seven years I have written, directed, and produced multiple short works that have screened in North America and Europe. My short film "CODA" has an upcoming release on Amazon in the US and UK later in 2020. My current project feature "Land of Nod" is in production, slated for a 2022 release.
