SYNOPSIS:

After learning she’ll be moving, a bullied outsider named Cole takes the nuclear option and pulls off one last epic prank: unveiling her entire school’s permanent records and unmasking everyone’s most salacious and humiliating secrets. From admissions scandals to kleptomania to student/teacher affairs, the resulting fallout of The Big Prank causes mayhem, expulsions, and firings around her town.

Worried about her unruly behavior, her parents decide to cancel the move and stay put. Now forced to live with the consequences of her actions, Cole turns over a new leaf and is determined to win everyone back…but nobody will be harder to win over than her former best friend, Kendall.

unpopular is a single cam procedural comedy that follows Cole as she struggles to make amends with the classmates she’s wronged. With the help of a former bully-turned-friend, she’ll attempt to help everyone overcome obstacles and right wrongs while overcoming her own flaws. It’s a mostly uphill battle as few people welcome her with open arms.
