About Tripp

Tripp Allen here. PA by day, screenwriter by night, daydreamer at heart. I've wanted to write and make movies/shows since I can remember, I've worked in the industry on-set and behind-the-scenes for over a decade, but I'm still pursuing the creative dream.

I joined Stage32 as a way to broaden my horizons and hopefully make more industry contacts on the creative side of things. But, also as an outlet to share ideas and talk shop.

I've written half a dozen spec scripts, both features and pilots, as well as numerous shorts. Some placed in contests, others have yet to see the light of day. The biggest criticism I'd give myself is that I can write all day long, but I'm adverse to and not very skilled at the business side of things: reaching out, making contacts, building relationships, submitting my work, etc. I hope to change that in some way with being more active here.

Anyway, that's me and my spiel. I'm always down to share and exchange ideas, talk shop, read scripts, etc. Feel free to reach out!
