About Tocha

I started my career as a director, but with the years, I became interested in all aspects of creative production: creative decisions about the content, the way of shooting, casting, working with strategy, and data-driven decisions are becoming more and more attractive.
I could act in critical audiovisual content production roles such as creation, script, direction, executive production, and editing.
But over the years, I specialized in creative producing and directing. I like to work in a team and also lead a team.
I've always been working in production companies for advertising agencies and clients. And with side projects with less money but more fun.
My interests are in documentaries, and documentary series. I've done a bunch of them in the last few years.
Nowadays, I'm involved in a project called LOAD, about the origin of a special kind of marijuana called Thai Stick (from Thailand), and a hilarious fact that happened in the '80s when 22 tons of Thai Stick, in cans, washed up in Rio de Janeiro's beaches.

Unique traits: I am working on two projects right now. Load, about the origin of the Thai Stick in western culture and the influence of the strain in modern days. And on How an Artist is Born, about an artist in São Paulo struggling to start his career.
