SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis: "Heart Of Alaska" Parts 1 & 2 Part 1 Synopsis SHANE LANDRUM is a local pilot who runs a flight service and volunteers as a Civil Air Patrol search and rescue flier. Traumatized by the failed rescue of a lost family, SHANE becomes despondent until he meets CHRISTA, the love of his life. CHRISTA herself has yet to recover from a terrible personal attack. Together they find comfort and begin to heal each others' wounds. Part 2 Synopsis: SHANE and CHRISTA LANDRUM have built a life together and are raising a family in Southeast Alaska. As the children grow and routine sets in, they begin to take each other for granted until the day that they are blind-sided by the frightening news that CHRISTA has what may be a terminal illness. Her only hope is in SHANE's hands and SHANE's only hope is the love and life of his family. SHANE must relive his past and overcome his fears of failure to save the love of his life and the mother of his children as well as his own soul by flying into one of the deadliest storms in Alaska history and return with the precious cargo that will save them all.
