OLD & FORGOTTEN

An elder man and an old dog will bond over being lost and forgotten, that is until one of them will be left alone again, or will they?
SYNOPSIS:
An abandoned dog is living in an unkept yard until she makes a new friend. An elderly man, out for a stroll, comes across the dog until they create a daily bond that they each look forward to. One day, the old dog is waiting for the elderly man when she is surprised by a Caretaker. She has the elderly man's hat and gives it to the old dog as she falls asleep on the hat for the last time. Suddenly, she's awake as a much younger version of herself and sees a younger version of the old man in the distance tossing a ball in his hand and calling for the old dog.

I really like the title, Curt Fulster. I'm having a hard time figuring out what's the central story from the logline and synopsis.

Thanks for the heads up Maurice. The story is about an old dog and an elderly man connecting over feeling alone and forgotten until the old dog feels alone again after the elderly man passes away. She curls up and passes away too. She wakes up on the other side as a younger version of herself with a younger version of the old man to spend eternity together not feeling alone or forgotten.
