After the tragic loss of her best friend, 10 y/o Seraphina is whisked away on a quest to bring order back to a magical world inside a rainbow by finding and returning a powerful stolen crystal, all while discovering self-confidence and hope with the help of supernatural characters who guide her along the way. 

SYNOPSIS:

A wish on a shooting star and the loss of her best friend leaves Seraphina questioning her destiny, until she learns she's the chosen one.

Feeling alone and devastated after the tragic loss of her best friend, Josie Lee, ten-year-old Seraphina wants nothing more than to have her back. Escaping reality into an unknown world, Seraphina will get to see Josie Lee again with the help of fairies, pixie dust, elves, and her very own unicorn. Throughout her journey, she passes a series of tests in a quest to find a rainbow crystal that will restore balance to the world. However, Seraphina's truest test is in discovering self-confidence and hope. Most importantly, she learns that Josie Lee is more of a guardian angel to her than she realizes and has never really left her side after all. It doesn't even require magic, just faith.

Seraphina feels that she is no one special. All she wants is a best friend in a new city and school. That all changes after she meets eccentric, fun Josie Lee, who is the only person in the world who can relate, because even Josie Lee must deal with her own insecurities. Late-night pillow-fights, Ouija-board fun, sneaking out, and deep conversations about the supernatural, leads them to become inseparable best friends with a special bond. An innocent visit to a metaphysical store one day ends with a psychic reading that has them making a wish on a shooting star to escape their realities by venturing inside a world of a rainbow, if such a world exists. Yet, fate has other plans. Shortly after, Josie Lee is killed in an accident, leaving Seraphina heartbroken. Walking home from school one day, Seraphina stumbles upon a talking butterfly. He tells her that she is the "chosen one" and that it's of the upmost importance for her to come with him inside his magical world of a rainbow to help save it. Seraphina finds herself on a mission to gain order back to Raiven with its six different, colored realms by returning the rainbow crystal to its wizard owner, which was stolen by the evil witch and her trolls.
